How to Disclose

April 30 update: Our scoring methodologies are now available below. You can also visit our Disclosure Hub to learn about the minimal changes to this year’s corporate and SME questionnaires, see key dates, and more. Requesters can now begin to create their Request lists in the CDP Portal.

How to disclose: step-by-step

For companies and SMEs

The CDP Portal contains key information about your organization’s disclosure, such as which people in your organization have access to the Portal and who has requested your organization to disclose. You can also view and update your organization’s details including your name, logo and organization description. Learn more about navigating the Portal

Existing CDP users will receive an email with instructions to sign into the Portal. Once you are signed in, you can also add colleagues as new users to your organization and edit users’ details.

New users will need to complete the Register to Disclose form (available from June 18) to gain access to the Portal and disclose.

This process is essential to ensure you are linked to the right organization.

Companies who’ve not received a request to disclose but wish to do so (ie Self-Selected Companies) should complete the Register to Disclose form too.

B) Confirm Submission Lead (ie the key contact point within your organization for CDP and the person who will submit your organization’s final response to the questionnaire. Your organization must confirm this to begin responding to the questionnaire and disclose.

C) Confirm your participation to disclose, to inform your Requester(s) of your intention to disclose during this cycle.

D) Set up your questionnaire by answering a series of questions to determine the correct questionnaire, modules and questions applicable to you.  Learn more about these onboarding steps.

More articles:

At this point, you can begin answering the questionnaire as part of your CDP disclosure.

You can edit your response after submitting this. The deadline for all amendments is the week of November 17
